Although differing in tone and perspective, they all reflect a complex blend of concern and hope for the nation’s fate. Together, these poems form a complete expressive arc—from the germination of hope to the shattering of illusions and finally to transcendence and reflection.The PAGA SAGA is the spark of hope, a passionate release of youth, art, and collective energy; Pipe Dreams represents the peak of anger, a harsh warning against systemic illusions; and Beyond the hype… serves as a contemplative epilogue—a personal prayer and tender awareness beyond the noise. Together, they construct a multidimensional portrait of modern PNG: full of inspiring hope, ruthless realities, and an indomitable light of the human spirit.<br>Stylistically, The PAGA SAGA is lyrical, rhythmically vibrant with a spoken-word quality. Its closing question adds philosophical depth—are these ideals real, or merely ad hoc eerie stirrings in the wind? Beyond the hype… takes a more introspective approach, using simple language and restrained emotion, building layered feelings through “I see / I hear / I look,” culminating in a quiet gratitude that moves the reader deeply. Pipe Dreams carries strong political satire; its repetitive structure intensifies the critical rhythm, with sharp and chilling language that conveys a sense of oppression. Its critique of hollow national development slogans is powerful and unflinching.<br>As a senior advisor, economist, and public intellectual of PNG, the author’s poetic voice transcends professional boundaries to embody the conscience of the nation. He does not write praise or grandiose anthems but fulfils these missions through poetry:<br>1. To record truth and resist forgetting<br>2. To awaken the public and challenge numbness<br>3.
