<p class="ql-block"><span style="color:rgb(57, 181, 74);">ACCS President Robert Sun led Kenyan Government Delegation Visited Beijing, Jinan, Jiyang, Qingzhou in Shandong Province </span></p> <p class="ql-block">Recently, a Kenyan government delegation consisting of senior officials arrived in Beijing, the capital of China, kicking off a meaningful friendly visit. This trip not only showcases the increasingly close cooperative relations between China and Kenya but also builds an important platform for in-depth exchanges in various fields.</p> <p class="ql-block">Upon arriving in Beijing, the delegation first visited Qianmen Pedestrian Street, which is full of old Beijing charm. The blend of traditional architecture and modern commerce made the delegation deeply feel the perfect integration of Chinese traditional culture and modern development.</p> <p class="ql-block">Later, the delegation visited the Temple of Heaven, a world cultural heritage site. The grand and solemn architectural style, along with its profound historical heritage, left a deep impression on the members.</p><p class="ql-block"> While gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, the delegation also actively connected with Chinese enterprise resources.</p> <p class="ql-block">The delegation made a special trip to Jinan, visiting Westin Holdings Group in Jinan Development Industrial Park. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on future investment layouts and industrial cooperation in Africa.</p> <p class="ql-block">The delegation held talks with the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Deputy Director Wu Jianguo warmly received them on behalf of the local government, and both sides conducted practical discussions on promoting China-Africa economic and trade cooperation and the strategy of enterprises "going global".</p> <p class="ql-block">Ma Baoling, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, led officials to cordially meet with the Kenyan delegation. They had in-depth dialogues on industrial docking, park construction, talent exchange and other issues, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.</p> <p class="ql-block">To further understand the operation models and industrial strength of Chinese enterprises, the delegation visited the industrial park developed by Westin Holdings Group in Jinan. The efficient and orderly management mechanism and complete industrial chain of the park were highly praised by the delegation members.</p> <p class="ql-block">Minister Ma Baoling led a team again to hold a special forum with the Kenyan delegation. Both sides reached extensive consensus on key issues such as China-Africa cooperation mechanisms, optimization of the investment environment, and policy support, injecting new impetus into promoting practical cooperation.</p> <p class="ql-block">The delegation visited Xiaoya Group to learn about the innovative achievements and technical strength of China’s manufacturing industry. The advanced production lines and intelligent management methods provided valuable reference experience for the Kenyan delegation.</p> <p class="ql-block">During their visit to Jieyuan Dianqi, the delegation members highly recognized the enterprise’s technical advantages in new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, and expressed a strong willingness to promote related technologies in Kenya.</p> <p class="ql-block">During the visit, the Kenyan delegation had many relaxed and fruitful interactions with entrepreneurs from Shandong Province. They talked about cooperation visions in a relaxed atmosphere, enhancing mutual understanding and trust, and laying a solid foundation for future joint development.</p> <p class="ql-block">The delegation conducted in-depth investigations into multiple industrial projects, learned about the advanced experience of Chinese enterprises in intelligent manufacturing, green energy, agricultural modernization and other fields, and discussed technology transfer and localized application.</p> <p class="ql-block">Through this visit, the Kenyan delegation gained a more comprehensive understanding of the innovation capabilities, management level and cooperation sincerity of Chinese enterprises, and also strengthened their confidence in promoting more cooperation projects in Kenya.</p> <p class="ql-block">With the promotion of the ACCS, China and Kenya reached cooperation intentions on several key projects, covering park construction, capacity transfer, technology export and other fields.</p> <p class="ql-block">During this trip, the Kenyan government delegation visited Beijing, Jinan, Jiyang, Qingzhou and other places in a tight schedule, achieving fruitful results. The delegation gained a deep understanding of China’s economic development status and established close ties with local governments and the business community, taking a solid step forward in promoting China-Kenya practical cooperation.</p> <p class="ql-block">Currently, China-Africa relations are at their best in history. Cooperation between China and Kenya in economy, trade, investment, infrastructure and other fields is constantly deepening. The ACCS has played a bridging role, actively facilitating a number of cooperation achievements.</p> <p class="ql-block">During this visit, the delegation brought many specific project intentions, especially the industrial park project promoted by the ACCS in Kenya, which aims to provide new overseas channels for Chinese enterprises affected by Sino-US trade frictions.</p> <p class="ql-block">By transferring production capacity to Kenya, utilizing local cheap labor and vast land resources to manufacture products, and taking advantage of Kenya’s re-export advantages to enter markets such as the United States and the European Union with tariff-free treatment, enterprises can significantly reduce costs and expand international market share.</p> <p class="ql-block">At the same time, Kenya needs to improve infrastructure in transportation, communications, logistics and other aspects, providing a good development platform for foreign-funded enterprises.</p> <p class="ql-block">As one of the most promising countries in Africa, Kenya has a huge market of 1.46 billion people and is in a period of rapid economic growth. With an open policy, superior business environment, no foreign exchange control and free flow of funds, it is an ideal springboard for Chinese enterprises to expand into the African market.</p><p class="ql-block"> </p><p class="ql-block">More Chinese enterprises are welcome to enter Kenya and seize the development opportunities in this blue ocean of Africa. Kenya is not only a leader in East Africa’s economic development but also an important gateway for Chinese enterprises to enter Africa and layout globally. Here, Chinese enterprises will start a “second spring” of growth, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results, and common development.</p>
