It is called "The Pearl Industry: A Witness to Island Economy" and it reflects the history of the pearl industry in this country over thousands of years.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 當年，作為采珠中心，來自海灣各地的優(yōu)秀采珠潛水員會乘坐獨桅帆船來到這里，一試身手。</p><p class="ql-block">Back then，as center for pearl fishing, outstanding pearl divers from all over the bay would board single-masted sailing boats and come here to test their skills.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 巴林是世界上富有的國家之一。但難以想象，在沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)石油和天然氣之前，采珠是支柱產(chǎn)業(yè)，國家的主要收入來源竟依賴于天然珍珠的采集。</p><p class="ql-block">Bahrain is one of the wealthiest countries in the world. But it's hard to imagine that before the discovery of oil and gas, pearl harvesting was the main industry and the country's main source of income relied on the collection of natural pearls.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 每到旅游旺季，珍珠之路遺址都會有各種活動，展示采珠海員生活，傳統(tǒng)音樂表演“非吉里”還被列入聯(lián)合國非遺名錄。</p><p class="ql-block">During the peak tourist season, various activities are held at the Pearl Road Ruins, showcasing the lives of the pearl fishermen and traditional music performances such as "Fingiri" have been listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.</p> <p class="ql-block">END</p>
