<p class="ql-block">站在牛津大學(xué) St Edmund Hall 古香古色的禮堂里，婚禮的音樂在耳邊響起，看著兒子挽著一身婚紗的新娘從門口緩緩走來，一切都是那么完美、那么浪漫。八百年的古老傳承襯托著青春的流光溢彩，仿佛置身于電影之中，感覺美的似乎有點(diǎn)兒不真實(shí)了……。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">說起來這都緣于2008年的一次旅行。那是我們第一次來牛津，第一次來就愛上了這里。莊嚴(yán)肅穆的哥特式建筑，美輪美奐的校園庭院，大師先賢們的傳奇軼事，文質(zhì)彬彬的才子佳人，還有字正腔圓的牛津英語……。這一切宛如春風(fēng)化雨，讓人覺得那么舒適愜意、溫馨自在，以至于在離開時(shí)一家人都有些戀戀不舍。誰也沒想到就是這次旅行 ，讓我們與牛津結(jié)下了不解之緣。那天是2008年4月19號(hào)，星期六，一個(gè)晴朗溫暖的春日。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">歲月如梭，一轉(zhuǎn)眼十七年前那個(gè)青蔥少年，就變成了牛津大學(xué)Exeter College的莘莘學(xué)子，變成了牛津醫(yī)院救死扶傷的醫(yī)生。那個(gè)射擊比賽中并肩戰(zhàn)斗的美女隊(duì)友，已是牛津大學(xué)的Postdoctoral Neuroscientist（博士后神經(jīng)學(xué)科學(xué)家）；變成了St Hilda's College的“教書先生”，成了今天美麗的新娘。在牛津大學(xué)這充滿中世紀(jì)氣息的校園里，倆個(gè)射擊隊(duì)的戰(zhàn)友互生情愫，相戀六年，終于書劍合璧、攜手天涯……。怎么也沒想到自己會(huì)這么幸運(yùn)，如此浪漫的事兒竟然發(fā)生在自家孩子身上！這命運(yùn)與緣分既真實(shí)又魔幻，真實(shí)到一路走來，一步一個(gè)腳印個(gè)個(gè)都?xì)v歷在目。一個(gè)生在中國、長在新西蘭的小伙子，竟然在牛津與劍橋的射擊比賽中遇到了自己的另一半，這緣分真的是魔幻到有些令人難以置信。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">從St Edmund Hall出發(fā)，沿著High Street向西, 經(jīng)過University College, All Souls College, Radcliffe Camera 走到Exeter College需要七八分鐘。倆人一個(gè)在St Edmund Hall, 一個(gè)在Exeter College，這條路熱戀中也不知走了多少次。挽著心愛的姑娘，穿梭在這古老的街巷，感受著濃濃的人文氣息……，我不禁有些羨慕兒子了。能在這么浪漫的地方好好談一場戀愛，而且還能與鐘情的姑娘共結(jié)連理，這小子真是幸運(yùn)！</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">此時(shí)此刻，我只覺得這一切發(fā)生的這么快，宛如白駒過隙、一幌而過。從第一次在產(chǎn)房門口看到剛出生的他，到他第一次叫媽媽爸爸，第一次上幼兒園……，一切都好像只是幾周前的事兒。小學(xué)一年級(jí)在學(xué)校Mardi Gras (懺悔節(jié)）Baby Whale Production 中扮演爸爸的情景還歷歷在目，轉(zhuǎn)眼間他就為人夫了。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">逝者如斯夫，不舍晝夜。不知不覺間，自己也成了明鏡中悲白發(fā)的"高堂"了！歲月蹉跎，令人唏噓。不過換個(gè)角度想，其實(shí)也沒什么好感嘆的。誰不是這么一步一步走過來的呢？能從從容容地一路走來，而且一路上還有這么多美好的風(fēng)景，也算是人生之幸了。生命大抵如此！雖說輪回總是相似，但當(dāng)你真切地感到生命的延續(xù)，看到后輩事業(yè)有成、生活幸福，看到青出于藍(lán)而勝于藍(lán)，也就心滿意足了。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">音樂結(jié)束打斷了我的思緒，公證人開始傳統(tǒng)的法律流程、簽署文件，新人交換戒指……。喜悅和幸福從倆人眼中溢出，感染了在場的每個(gè)人。在新娘深情的傾訴之后，新郎凝視著新娘的雙眸，一字一句地說：</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">“I cannot promise you a life of sunshine;</p><p class="ql-block">I cannot promise riches, wealth, or gold;</p><p class="ql-block">I cannot promise you an easy pathway </p><p class="ql-block">That leads away from change or growing old.</p><p class="ql-block">But I can promise all my heart's devotion;</p><p class="ql-block">A smile to chase away your tears of sorrow;</p><p class="ql-block">A love that's ever true and ever growing;</p><p class="ql-block">A hand to hold in yours through each tomorrow“ ①</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">不知怎的，此刻我的雙眼不禁有些濕潤了。"真般配”。不知是誰輕聲說了一句。真好！我也在心里輕輕地附和著，新郎開始親吻新娘……。還是第一次覺得婚禮這么美好，一切都像是夢一樣，比當(dāng)年自己結(jié)婚還要高興。隨著美女注冊官一句：“Now，you are the newest husband and wife in Oxford”，在親友們的歡呼聲中，新郎新娘開啟了生命中的新篇章。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">桃之夭夭，灼灼其華。琴瑟在御，莫不靜好。做為父親，看著孩子成家立業(yè)，琴瑟和鳴、比翼雙飛，自己的使命也算是完成了。站在父輩的肩頭，托起孩子的未來，傳承本該如此。在慶幸欣慰之余，要感謝上蒼的恩賜，感謝先祖的庇佑！看來余生無論身在何處，牛津注定會(huì)令我心心念念，時(shí)時(shí)掛牽了。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">2025年4月12日于牛津</p> <p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">①</i><b style="font-size:15px;"><i>These I can promise《我可以給你這些承諾》</i></b></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">——by Mark Twain 馬克·吐溫</i></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">I cannot promise you a life of sunshine</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">我不能許諾你一生陽光燦爛</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">I cannot promise riches, wealth, or gold</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">我不能許諾你富貴榮華</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">I cannot promise you an easy pathwaythat leads away from change or growing old</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">我也不能許諾你一生坦途、容顏永駐</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">But I can promise all my heart's devotion</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">但我能許諾我衷心的獻(xiàn)奉</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">A smile to chase away your tears of sorrow</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">用我的微笑驅(qū)散你憂傷的眼淚</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">A love that's ever true and ever growing</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">許諾你一份永遠(yuǎn)真誠、不斷增長的愛</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">A hand to hold in yours through each tomorrow.</i></p><p class="ql-block"><i style="font-size:15px;">牽著你的手走過每一個(gè)明天</i></p> <p class="ql-block"><i>Exeter College </i></p> <p class="ql-block"><i>St Edmund Hall</i> </p> <p class="ql-block"><i>St Hilda's College</i> </p>
