<p class="ql-block">Eliza Jane is angry. Eliza Jane is mad. She's having a very bad day. It's the worst she's ever had.</p><p class="ql-block">伊麗莎. 簡很生氣。伊麗莎．簡氣瘋了。她今天過得很糟糕。這是她有生以來最糟糕的一天。</p> <p class="ql-block">At school, a boy called Billy throws a book across the class. It hits a classroom . It breaks a pane of glass.</p><p class="ql-block">在學校，一個叫比利的男孩把一本書從教室這頭兒扔到教室那頭兒。書撞到了教室的窗戶，打碎了一塊玻璃。</p> <p class="ql-block">The teacher asks，"Who threw the book？ Please tell me their name！”Billy pionts across the classroom. He says, "It was Eliza Jane!"</p><p class="ql-block">老師問，“誰扔的書？請告訴我這個人的名字！”比利指著教室的另一側(cè)，說：“是伊麗莎．簡?！?lt;/p> <p class="ql-block">“Eliaza？”says the teacher. "Please tell me it's not true." "It wasn't me!" says Eliza. She looks at Billy. "It was you!"</p><p class="ql-block">“伊麗莎？”老師說，“請告訴我這不是真的?！安皇俏?”伊麗莎說。她看著比利。“是你!”</p> <p class="ql-block">The teacher looks at Billy. Billy's face goes red. "You're in a lot of trouble, Billy! Go and see the Head!"</p><p class="ql-block">老師看著比利。比利的臉紅了?！氨壤?，你有麻煩了! 去見校長吧!”</p> <p class="ql-block">Billy leaves the classroom. Tears fill Eliza's eyes. Why did Billy point at her? Why did he tell lies?</p><p class="ql-block">比利離開了教室。伊麗莎眼睛里充滿了淚水。為什么比利指向她？他為什么要撒謊？</p> <p class="ql-block">Billy taps the office door. The Head shouts, "Please come in!" Billy is very worried. He's afraid when he walks in.</p><p class="ql-block">比利敲了敲辦公室的門。校長大聲說：“請進!”比利很惶恐。走進去的時候他很害怕。</p> <p class="ql-block">"A broken !" says the Head. "What were you thinking, Billy?" Throwing books is dangerous. Throwing books is silly!</p><p class="ql-block">“窗戶碎了!”校長說，“比利， 你到底在想什么呢？”扔書是很危險的行為! 扔書是愚蠢的行為!</p> <p class="ql-block">Billy takes a deep breath. He is sorry and he's sad. He knows it's wrong to throw things. He knows that it is bad.</p><p class="ql-block">比利深吸了一口氣。他感到很抱歉，他很難過。他意識到了扔?xùn)|西是不對的，這是不道德的行為。</p> <p class="ql-block">When Billy gets back to the class, he sees Eliza Jane. But Eliza will not look at him. She will not say his name.</p><p class="ql-block">比利回到教室，看到了伊麗莎．簡。但是伊麗莎．簡不肯看他 。伊麗莎．簡不肯叫他的名字。</p> <p class="ql-block">At lunch time, Billy is busy. The Head gives him jobs to do. Billy has to sweep the playground and pick up litter too.</p><p class="ql-block">午飯時間，比利很忙。校長派給他 一些工作去完成。比利不得不清掃操場，還得撿垃圾。</p> <p class="ql-block">Eliza sits alone while the other children play. They ask her to play with them, but she sends them all away.</p><p class="ql-block">其他孩子玩耍時，伊麗莎獨自坐著。他們邀請伊麗莎一起來玩，但是她把他們都打發(fā)走了。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">Eliza is cross with Billy. He lied. She 's feeling mad. So she marches up to Billy, then she does something bad.</p><p class="ql-block">伊麗莎在生比利的氣。 他說謊了。伊麗莎情緒有些失控，他大步走到比利面前，然后做了不明智的舉動。</p> <p class="ql-block">She takes the bag of rubbish and tips it on the grass. She pulls a face at Billy then marches back to class.</p><p class="ql-block">她拿過垃圾袋，把垃圾倒在了草地上。她沖著比利做了個鬼臉，然后大步走回了教室。</p> <p class="ql-block">When the teacher asks,"Who made that mess? Who could it be?" Billy puts his hand up. He says,"I'm sorry. It was me!"</p><p class="ql-block">老師問：“是誰把垃圾弄得亂糟糟的？是誰呢？”比利舉起手，說：“很抱歉，是我做的!”</p> <p class="ql-block">Now Eliaza's feeling bad. But what will put things right? At bedtime, she can't go to sleep. She stays awake all night.</p><p class="ql-block">現(xiàn)在伊麗莎感覺很糟糕。但是怎樣才能彌補過錯呢？晚上，伊麗莎無法入睡，她整晚都失眠了。</p> <p class="ql-block">Next day, the Head gives Billy a lot more jobs to do. But Eliza says, "Don't worry. I will be helping you."</p><p class="ql-block">第二天，校長給了比利更多的工作。伊麗莎說·“別擔心，我來幫你?！?lt;/p> <p class="ql-block">So, Billy works together with his classmate, Eliza Jane. Everyone is happy that they are friends again.</p><p class="ql-block">于是，比利和的同學伊麗莎．簡一起工作。所有人都很高興，因為他們倆又是朋友了。</p>
