After some pickling, the garlic will turn green. This pickled garlic goes very well with dumplings.</p><p class="ql-block">In Chinese, the words “garlic” and “calculate” have the same pronunciation; therefore, eating garlic on Laba Day is symbolic of reckoning the year’s income and expenses as year-end approaches.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">在中國的北方有一個習(xí)俗，在臘八節(jié)的時候把蒜泡到醋中，經(jīng)過醋的浸泡后，蒜會變的通體碧綠。</p><p class="ql-block">經(jīng)過醋泡過的蒜和餃子一起吃更配哦~在中國“蒜”與“算”同音，隨著年底的臨近，在臘八節(jié)那天吃蒜是計(jì)算整年收支的象征。</p> <p class="ql-block">Northerners have a custom of leaving a basin of water outside the house to be frozen; they break this ice into pieces and eat it on Laba Day.</p><p class="ql-block">The ice on this day is said to possess supernatural power, capable of keeping those who eat it free from stomachache for a whole year.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">北方人有一個習(xí)俗，他們在房子外面放一盆水等水凍成冰，在臘八節(jié)那天把冰搗碎并把它吃掉。</p><p class="ql-block">據(jù)說，這天的冰擁有超自然的力量，它能讓吃了的人一整年都不會肚子疼。</p> <p class="ql-block">[福]在臘八節(jié)這一天吃臘八粥的習(xí)俗，已延續(xù)了一千多年。</p><p class="ql-block">這一習(xí)俗的由來有很多說法，有說在臘月初八這一天以紅小豆、赤小豆熬粥，可祛疫迎祥。</p><p class="ql-block">也有說在臘八這天以雜糧豆果煮粥是為了紀(jì)念岳飛。</p> <p class="ql-block">[福]那今天呢，給大家分享的繪本來自--中國傳統(tǒng)故事《臘八節(jié)的故事》</p> <p class="ql-block">農(nóng)歷十二月又叫臘月，臘月初八是臘八節(jié)，這一天，人們都要喝臘八粥。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">熬臘八粥要用各種米和豆子：像白米，黃米，江米啦，紅豆，綠豆，蕓豆啦……還可以加入喜歡的果子，如大棗花生和杏仁等，熬啊，熬啊，熬成一鍋香噴噴的臘八粥，讓你喝了一碗還想喝。</p> <p class="ql-block">喝著香噴噴的臘八粥，老爺爺講起了“瞌睡蟲”和“沒底鍋”的故事。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">從前啊，有這么一家三口：爸爸，媽媽和兒子。</p> <p class="ql-block">爸爸最勤勞。他每天雞叫就起床，天剛亮就下地干活兒。他說：“手是搖錢樹，鋪成金光路?！?lt;/p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">媽媽最節(jié)儉，過日子精打細(xì)算，她補(bǔ)的衣服又密又好。她說：“天下哪有聚寶盆，勤儉才成富裕人?！?lt;/p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">他們家呀，米面滿倉，雞鴨成群，瓜果成架。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">但是他家有個懶兒子。這個兒子整天吃飽了就睡，鄰居叫他“瞌睡蟲”。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">老兩口年紀(jì)大了。爸爸對兒子說：“要吃飯，得流汗。你得學(xué)著種莊稼，光睡覺可不行啊?！?lt;/p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">媽媽對兒子說：“爹娘可不能跟你一輩子，你不會過日子，老了可怎么辦呀？”</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">這種人，好姑娘誰愿意嫁??？結(jié)果“瞌睡蟲”取了個媳婦兒，和他一樣懶。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">她太陽沒落就睡，日上三竿不起，油瓶倒了都不扶。鄰居都叫她“沒底鍋”。</p> <p class="ql-block">過了幾年，老兩口病重，他們不放心的囑咐“瞌睡蟲”和“沒底鍋”：“要想日子過得好，勤勞節(jié)儉不能少。飯要及時衣要暖，地要深耕細(xì)除草?！辈痪屠蟽煽诰拖群笕ナ懒?。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">“瞌睡蟲”覺得老兩口不會享福，他對媳婦兒說：“糧滿倉，豆?jié)M倉，何必犯傻種地忙？”</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">“沒底鍋”覺得日子過得挺好，不用發(fā)愁。她對丈夫說：“有單衣有棉被，織布不如把覺睡。”</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">兩人誰也沒有把老人的話放在心里，每天除了吃喝玩樂還是吃喝玩樂，坐吃山空呀，沒幾年，地荒了，家里也沒有存糧了。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">這年臘月初八，北風(fēng)“呼呼”地刮，雪花飄呀飄，簡直有巴掌那么大?！邦x”和“沒底鍋”沒吃沒穿，縮在破房子里，直打哆嗦。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">“哆嗦嗦，哆嗦嗦，好想媽媽的白饃饃?！?“哎呦呦，哎呦呦，掃把雜糧湊碗粥?！彪s糧是從缸底，糧倉縫，墻邊，老鼠洞……好不容易找出來的。誰知道他們端起碗剛想喝，一陣大風(fēng)刮來，房子呼啦一下塌了。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">根據(jù)這個傳說，每年的臘八，家家都要熬上一鍋雜糧粥，喝粥過節(jié)，用來提醒自己，珍惜好生活。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p>
