<p>今天，休斯頓清華校友會剛收到東莞領(lǐng)益精密制造科技有限公司寄來的8000個一次性口罩，我們便立即應德州議員Gene Wu 的號召，捐贈2000個給了 Houston Police Officers Union（休斯頓警察工會），外加500個KN95口罩。 同時又捐贈給了City Of Houston Fire Department 2000個一次性口罩，和500個KN95口罩. 這些部門防護用品都非常緊缺，他們已經(jīng)有人被感染了。他們在保護著我們的社區(qū)，支持他們就是支持我們的社區(qū)。視頻里講話的是休斯頓警察工會主席，全美國警察工會副主席 Joe Gamaldi，他說他無法用語言更好地表達他們對清華校友會和亞裔社區(qū)對他們大力支持的感謝 ！我們校友會陸續(xù)還會收到更多的一次性口罩，領(lǐng)益精密制造公司共捐贈校友會5萬個，我們收到后會繼續(xù)捐贈給最需要的地方。</p><p>Today, Houston Tsinghua Alumni Association received 8000 disposable masks from China, donatied from Dongguan Lingyi Precision Manufacturing Technology Company for a total of 50,000 masks, we first reponded State Representitive Gene Wu's call to donate them to Houston Police Officers Union and City Of Houston Fire Department, 2000 disposable masks and 500 KN95 masks for each department. Joe, the president of the Union, he is also the vice president of US Police Officers Union said in the video that he couldn't thank you enough for Houston Tsinghua Alumni's generous donation and also the generous donation from Asian Community ! Once we receive the rest 50,000 masks from China, we will gradually donate them to our community where need them badly. </p>
